Privacy Policy

Feel the Need is published by Vexing Media, LLC.

The short version

Feel the Need does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. There are
no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party code in the app.

Location

Feel the Need requests When In Use location access for one reason: to read the
speed reported by your device's GPS receiver so it can display it.

  • Your location is used only while the app is open and on screen.
  • Your location is processed entirely on your device.
  • Your location is never recorded, saved, or written to a file.
  • Your location is never transmitted to Vexing Media or to anyone else.

The app does not request Always access and does not use background location. When you
leave the app, location updates stop.

You can revoke location access at any time in Settings. The app will continue to open
and will tell you that location access is needed.

What is stored on your device

The app remembers a small number of preferences on your device only: your chosen units
(MPH or KM/H), your chosen display mode (dial or digital), and whether you have
acknowledged the safety notice. This information stays on your device and is not
readable by us.

Tips and payments

Feel the Need is free. It includes an optional tip jar. Tips are processed entirely by
Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment details,
your name, or your email address. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by
Apple's own privacy policy.

Analytics and tracking

There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash
reporting service, and no third-party libraries of any kind. We do not track you across
apps or websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

Apple may provide us with anonymous, aggregated statistics about downloads and crashes
through App Store Connect. We cannot identify individual users from that data.

Children

Feel the Need does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new
"last updated" date.
