Cancer Can’t is a non-profit that operates throughout the inland northwest to support adults and families dealing with cancer and the challenges and expenses that battling cancer incurs. They support families and adults fighting cancer through several programs, and are in the process of building a $7.5M facility in West Central Spokane to house out of town patients while they go through taxing treatments like radiation and chemotherapy. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to help patients focus on healing, rather than the burden of cancer.

At Vexing Media, we’re honored to have had a long collaborative relationship with Cancer Can’t in amplifying that mission. Through creative videos and storytelling, we aim to strengthen their voice and help share the incredible work they do for so many people.

Recently, Matt Slotemaker, Vexing’s Director of Video Production  talked with Becky Van Keulen, founder and director of Cancer Can’t, to talk about their 10 years working together and the integral role video has played in supporting the org’s fundraising efforts during their annual gala event.

Video is a powerful tool because it goes beyond words and helps to create an emotional connection. It allows audiences to develop an emotional connection with the real people who are affected by cancer.

Cancer Can’t is pursuing big dreams to make a real impact on the community and we’re honored to support their mission. Learn more about them at cancercant.com.Visit: https://www.cancercant.com/
