The Process
Katie Jessop, Executive Director of GLOW, a not-for-profit childcare center that serves children birth through twelve years old, reached out to Airam, Co-owner & Creative Director of Vexing Media, to design the nonprofit organization’s new branding. Because the organization did not have a website at the time, Katie connected with Brandon, Co-owner & Director of Digital Media at Vexing Media, to design GLOW’s first website.
The main goal was to create a website that was extremely easy to use and also held purpose-driven functions throughout.
The GLOW website needed to offer printable applications and step-by-step instructions to provide the Spokane community’s young parents with the necessary enrollment information.
The Results
Shortly after launching the new website, GLOW needed marketing support. Katie asked Brandon for social media assistance to connect the new branding with the audience that GLOW served most. This use of platform marketing greatly improved the traffic rating on the website.
The new website has received trust in brand awareness and only positive feedback for the new GLOW logo. A recent GLOW client mentioned how easy it was to use the website to receive all the information needed to move forward in the application process. This user-friendly experience has made Katie’s work-load a bit lighter. She can direct her clients to the website, knowing it holds all the necessary information for her future enrollees.
Katie also recounts her thanks for Brandon and Airam’s ability to connect with each of their clients on a more personal level. Because of this connection, Katie said there were things she noticed the team at Vexing Media would intuitively address because they made it their mission to know hers.
What's Next
Vexing Media continues to work with the GLOW team to provide technical assistance and marketing services. We will always partner with local organizations as we find success in creating websites that connect trust in brand awareness. We will determine the most efficient ways to develop the highest user experience level possible.
